Wat is de balans tussen autonomie en verbondenheid? Tot in hoeverre staan we op onszelf? Dit onderzoekt beeldend maker Coco van der Wiel in 'Tussen Wij en Ik'. Deze performance bevraagt het westerse individualisme en ons verlangen naar autonomie. De dansers raken verstrikt in een rood elastisch doek en hebben elkaar nodig om in balans te blijven. Zo maken ze de verbinding tussen mensen invoelbaar.

What is the balance between autonomy and belonging? To what extent do we stand on our own? This is what visual artist Coco van der Wiel explores in 'Tussen Wij en Ik'. This performance questions Western individualism and our desire for autonomy. The dancers become entangled in a red elastic cloth and need each other to stay in equilibrium. In this way, they make the connection between people palpable.
