'The Imaginary Friend' gaat over de achtjarige Daniel, die net zijn moeder heeft verloren en moeite heeft om werkelijkheid en fantasie te scheiden. In deze unieke interactieve Virtual Reality-ervaring word jij, de kijker, Daniels beste vriend en zo onderdeel van zijn kleurrijke fantasiewereld. Spelenderwijs help je hem zijn angsten te overwinnen.

The Imaginary Friend is gemaakt door Studio Biarritz, in coproductie met Submarine Channel (NL) en Cassette for timescapes, en in samenwerking met 4DR Studios, Wildvreemd, Demute, APVIS en Dat!school.

The Imaginary Friend is about eight-year-old Daniel, who has just lost his mother and struggles to separate reality from fantasy. In this unique interactive virtual reality experience, you, the viewer, become Daniel's best friend and thereby part of his colorful fantasy world. You help him overcome his fears through play.
